Zurich Population Research Conference 2025: Program Online & Registration Open!

The program is now available online, and registration is open.

We are thrilled to announce that the program for the Zurich Population Research Conference 2025 is now available, and registration is officially open!

Our keynote speakers—Melinda Mills from Nuffield College, University of Oxford, and Emilio Zagheni from the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research—will kick off the conference on Monday, January 20, 2025. Other highlights include parallel sessions covering a broad range of topics and methodologies in population research.

Topics include mental health, migration and mobility, environmental influences, population disparities, and life course research. Methodologically, innovative approaches such as participatory and qualitative methods, cohort and longitudinal studies, and advanced modeling techniques will be presented. This combination of thematic and methodological sessions aims to deepen our understanding of population dynamics and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

In addition to the sessions, there will be ample opportunities for interdisciplinary discussions, during breaks, and at the conference dinner. The program will conclude with the announcement of the best presentation and a celebratory aperitif.

Visit the conference website to find the detailed program and registration form.
